In this interview we talk about vulnerability between women, how to be gentle with ourselves and others, and how to react differently than the culture of women tearing other women down. I think you will love this episode!

Episode 32: This is the first episode in which I didn’t interview anyone. This episode aired shortly after a very scary experience where I was in the icu because of severe medical issues. I share about my experience and also share my heart about being in a season of pause. I chose to re release this episode because I think it is timely and fits the season all of us are in currently.

I chat with my friend Courtney Barta about what it was like for her after years of dealing with infertility finally conceiving and giving birth only to have her child die an hour after birth.
I'm so thankful to my good and brave friend, Courtney. Honored that she'd share so vulnerably to help the rest of us. Please keep her and family in your prayers.
In this episode I interview Courtney Barta about her struggle with infertility. If you have struggled with infertility or if you have a loved one who has struggled with it, this episode will bless you. This is another episode from the vault which was first aired in 2016. Courtney shares her heart so beautifully in this interview and she is very honest about her experiences. You will be so blessed by this interview.
Infertility is a constantly shifting and changing journey, it is not a constant. Practicing NFP is all about trusting God, our vision is not always His vision. It is a journey of trust and discerning and opening ourselves to His will. Wherever you are at in your journey as a woman seeking to have children there is beauty, there is also struggle and pain but it is so important to watch for the beauty. Trust in what God has for you in this season it will grow you and prepare you for whatever is next.

This interview was originally aired on Pints with Aquinas but I loved it so much I decided to share it with y'all. In this episode Mr. Fradd interviews the lovely Sr. Natalia, who is a Byzantine nun. They talk about what it's like to be a religious sister, stupid questions you may be asked as a nun, what the funny hat nuns wear is actually called and how Jesus radically changed Sr. Natalias life.
If you are discerning God's will in your life, then this conversation is ABSOLUTELY for you. Or if you're someone who just loves conversion stories about people radically loving Jesus, then you're going to LOVE this episode.
We are so grateful that you are here and we hope you enjoy the show. If you enjoy this episode please consider giving Among the Lilies a rating here on itunes. It is extremely helpful in helping people find the show.

In this episode I interview Janice Charbonnet. We talk about Pentecost, the holy spirit, and how transformative it is to invite the Holy Sprit into every day moments, the small and the large. He wants to transform all our suffering, even the terrible Costco delivery...just listen and you will understand. Enjoy!
More about Janice (White) Charbonnet: Janice was born and raised in Canada. She studied at Mount Saint Vincent University in Nova Scotia and earned a degree in public relations. She worked in various positions across the country, ending with a position as public relations coordinator for a politician with a cabinet position. In 1996 she felt called to quit her job and serve as a missionary with NET Ministries, traveling with a team across the United States leading evangelization retreats for teenagers. That was where she met her husband, Jean, and they continued to work with NET Ministries together, this time in their Canadian office. They moved to Mandeville in 2008 to be closer to Jean's family. Janice and Jean have 5 children ranging in age from 18 to 6. She serves on the women's team for CCRNO (Catholic Charismatic Renewal of New Orleans). She and her husband are speakers for Wilwoods marriage retreats and also facilitate a program teaching married couples how to pray together. She has a passion for ministering to women's hearts and delights in being with groups of women on retreat.
