Bonnie Landry is back! I am so excited to share this episode with you. I interview Bonnie Landry about the ideology of "carrot and stick" motivation in parenting and in homeschooling. I think you will find this discussion very interesting.
Bonnie is a Catholic-convert homeschooling wife and mother for the last thirtysomething years. She and her husband have seven children, 13-32, and five little grandchildren. They have been homeschooling their brood on Vancouver Island since 1991.
She loves God and hanging out with her husband and family as well as; gardening, speaking, writing, doing floral design, drinking wine, ballroom dancing, making cocktails!

We just wrapped up our first Lilies Ladies weekend retreat! It was such a great experience so I wanted to share some of the highlights with y’all. In this episode Jasmine Ima and I talk about the weekend, our takeaways and what we learned about the importance of rest!
You may not be in a place where you can get away for a small retreat, however rest is important wherever you are. This year has not allowed for a lot of rest children are home parents are working from home as well so we have to be extra creative in how we find rest and give Christ the quiet to speak into. I hope you Enjoy this episode and I really hope to meet more of you the next time we do a Lilies Ladies retreat.

Today I interview the beautifully authentic Melissa Tolosi! She shares all about her conversion to Catholicism after being raised a protestant. She shares her faith journey with such clarity and emotion it is an amazing interview and I think you will love it!
Melissa Tolosi is an Australian-American convert stumbling (often) along the path to sainthood in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She could also be described as a cat person, an aspiring novelist and copywriter, or a nanny with a deep love of Gregorian chant and Broadway showtunes. You can find her on Instagram at @thecrunchycatholic ! Or on facebook in the Among the Lilies group just search her name.

Charity is defined as "kindness and tolerance in judging others." In this episode I talk for a bit about relationships and how it is common to be in relationship for what you can get out of that relationship. Our culture praises those who can see in a relationship what they can get out of it, think of the quintessential salesman/businessman. This is NOT to say that all salesmen/businessmen are only selfish in relationships but that it is a trait that is encouraged by the world. To see another person for the value they bring to you instead of what you can bring to the other.
Jesus modeled sacrificial relationships and he did not choose to only be in relationships with those who he agreed with, we are called to do likewise. I hope you enjoy this episode!
